How it works
- Count who is here. Generate the schedule after registration, not the night before — late arrivals and no-shows won't break it.
- Pick the format and pitches. 2v2 to 5v5 small-sided games on as many pitches as you have.
- Play. Teams are re-mixed every round, so children play with and against different team-mates and partners repeat as rarely as possible.
How many pitches do you need?
One 3v3 pitch keeps six children busy; one 4v4 pitch keeps eight. If the numbers don't divide evenly, play one pitch with uneven sides rather than sitting a child out.
| Players today | 3v3 pitches | Split per round |
|---|---|---|
| 12 | 2 | 2 × 3v3 |
| 17 | 3 | 2 × 3v3 + 1 × 2v3 |
| 19 | 3 | 2 × 3v3 + 1 × 3v4 |
| 24 | 4 | 4 × 3v3 |

Questions
Is the tournament generator free?
Yes. You can generate a schedule on this page without an account. Creating a full tournament with score entry and player summaries is free during the open beta.
What happens with an odd number of players?
Instead of benching a child, the generator plays some matches with uneven sides (for example 3v4) and rotates who plays in the smaller team. A team that wins while outnumbered gets bonus points.
Which formats are supported?
Small-sided games from 2v2 to 5v5 on as many pitches as you have. Teams are re-mixed every round, so each child plays with and against different team-mates.
